Did You Know?

Did you know that fruits and vegetables were the first foods God created in the world's most beautiful "Garden of Eden?" The body is a temple, without a solid foundation; a temple cannot be sustainable. That is why nutrition is imperative as the foundation for a successful life.

There is no substitute for fruits and vegetables; they provide nourishment which is vital for a healthy body. They contain 80% water like the human body; it’s an ultimate brain fuel with a positive effect. They help the brain to recall information faster and more easily. So students when preparing for examinations, eat more fruits and vegetables.

Fruits and vegetables should be a part of your everyday meals and your first choice in snacks; aim for your five day fruit and vegetables. These foods are very rich with vitamins, minerals, protein, zinc, copper, calcium, potassium, enzymes, magnesium, iron, beta-carotene, phosphorus, and many other nutritional properties.

Research studies have shown that nutritional properties in fruits and vegetables are critical in promoting good health. They recommend that people need to increase the amount of fruits and vegetables they currently eat. Because these foods are 100% cholesterol free and low in calories, they enhance the immune system, heals wounds quickly, lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure; reduce the risk of stroke and heart attacks.
